Punti bench and Spot stools

The Punti bench is the result of a study of color, shapes and traditional weaving methods. The color mix emphasizes the weaving technique, in which the outer frame is coiled ahead of the seating surface.
The bench was inspired by abstract paintings where random drops of color create visuals that are both deliberate and haphazard. The Punti bench has this same sense of order and disorder, all surface areas are perfectly round, yet their sizes are varied. Though the mix of colors were carefully chosen, the weaving pattern is completely random and unique to each bench. The shadow patterns cast by external lighting adds a further, changeable aspect to the bench.
Using the same weaving technique the stackable Spot stools have an asymetrical shape and are available in a mix of colors. Spot Stools, Bar Stools and Punti Bench are handmade and are perfectly suited to outdoor use.
